Invisible Treasure

An interactive digital playspace by fanSHEN — no actors, no fixed plot, just you and a set of choices. Invisible Treasure is a journey through seven levels of unreality, using sensor, sound, and projection technologies to build a world that feels like the inside of a computer game while remaining uncomfortably close to the actual one. About power structures, individual agency, and what it means to follow or break the rules.
The lighting design was shared with Joshua Pharo — a genuinely collaborative process on a piece where every design element was in active conversation with the others, responding to audience presence in real time. Sell-out run at Ovalhouse in 2015.
