Mischief Theatre’s comedy magic show, directed by Hannah Sharkey — a spoof mentalist act that ran from Edinburgh Fringe to a full UK tour to, somewhat brilliantly, the Virgin Voyages Resilient Lady cruise ship. Three very different contexts for the same show, each requiring the video design to travel and adapt.
The design is part of the joke as much as the spectacle — the visual language of cheesy stage mentalism, lovingly and precisely deployed.
