Nick Bruckman’s play about Jeffrey Dahmer — not the crime, but the edges of desire and fear that the story exposes when you dig past the sensationalism. Directed by Ng Choon Ping at VAULT Festival’s The Cage, the piece cuts true crime together with gentle comedy, brutal horror, and something that functions like romance. De Groene Amsterdammer called it a show that “cuts you open.”
The video and lighting design at VAULT Festival means working lean: small budget, tight turnaround, a found space that has to become something. The constraint sharpens the work.
